Argofet battery isolators allow simultaneous charging of two or more batteries from a single alternator or a single-output charger, without connecting the batteries together. Compared to Argodiode isolators, Argofet models feature virtually no voltage loss, ensuring more efficient charging and minimal energy drop.

The Victron Argofet 100-2 is a high-efficiency FET battery isolator designed for safely charging two independent battery banks from one alternator or charger. FET technology ensures an ultra-low voltage drop (<0.02 V at low current and around 0.1 V at higher current), providing optimal charging efficiency.
Voltage drop examples:
• 100 A through 50 mm² cable (10 m) → ≈0.26 V
• 50 A through 10 mm² cable (5 m) → ≈0.35 V
Alternator energize input:
Some alternators require DC voltage at the B+ terminal to start charging. The Argofet models include a current-limited energize input that ensures proper alternator operation.
