The Ocean Signal AIS Alarm is a dedicated alarm unit designed to ensure that any AIS MOB or AIS SART signal is immediately detected and audibly alerted onboard. When an AIS distress message is received, the unit sounds a loud 87 dB alarm, ensuring crew awareness of a potential man overboard or emergency rescue situation. Using NMEA 0183 connectivity, the AIS Alarm integrates easily with existing AIS receivers and vessel networks. Compact, durable and reliable, it is a vital component of onboard marine safety systems.

Ocean Signal AIS Alarm is designed to ensure immediate audible notification whenever an AIS MOB or AIS SART signal is received. Upon detection of an AIS distress message, the unit activates a loud 87 dB alarm to alert crew members to a potential man overboard or emergency rescue situation.

The alarm supports NMEA 0183 communication at 38,400 baud (!VDM), allowing straightforward integration with existing AIS receivers and onboard systems. Integrated controls allow alarm muting, cancellation or acknowledgement as required.
