The safeSEA S100 Radar SART (Search and Rescue Transponder) is a vital component of maritime safety equipment designed to enhance the detectability of survival craft and vessels during search and rescue operations. When in standby mode, the unit automatically responds to X-band radar signals from nearby ships, transmitting a clear series of pulses that appear as a line of dots on the ship’s radar display. safeSEA S100 Radar SART is designed to assist in the detection and recovery of survival craft and vessels during search and rescue operations. When in standby mode, the device automatically responds to X-band radar signals from nearby ships, transmitting pulses that are displayed on the ship’s radar as a clear line of dots indicating bearing to the target.

The S100 SART enhances visibility in poor weather, low visibility and night-time conditions. Its compact and durable design allows for easy deployment while ensuring reliable operation in harsh marine environments.

The unit is powered by a long-life primary lithium battery and complies with international maritime safety standards and SOLAS requirements.
