It features a robust construction, a watertight stainless steel ball bearing in the base, and independent gypsy and drum operation. Lofrans X2 Vertical Windlass is engineered for demanding boaters who require a powerful, durable, and dependable anchoring system. Suitable for sailing yachts and motorboats from 6 to 27 meters in length, the X2 series offers multiple configurations depending on power supply, motor output, and finish.
The windlass is equipped with a watertight stainless steel ball bearing housed in the base, ensuring long service life and virtually maintenance-free operation. The electric motor and gearbox are connected via a plug-in coupling for easier servicing.
The X2 series provides independent operation of the gypsy and drum. A conical clutch system evenly distributes load without the use of keys, while a built-in base sensor and gypsy magnet allow connection to a chain counter.
Manual override enables chain or rope recovery in case of power failure (except for the 800 W chrome version).
