Its compact round base and AISI 316L stainless steel construction ensure excellent corrosion resistance and long-term reliability in demanding marine environments. Available in low-profile or drum versions, the SX3 delivers powerful, smooth and controlled anchoring performance.

Lofrans SX3 vertical anchor windlass is a reliable and powerful anchoring solution for sailing yachts and motor boats from 6 to 27 metres in length. Featuring a compact round base and a housing made of AISI 316L stainless steel, the SX3 offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance in demanding marine environments.
The windlass is available in low-profile or drum configurations, with independent gypsy and drum operation. A high-performance IP66-rated electric motor, anodised aluminium gearbox and conical clutch ensure even load distribution and efficient anchoring. The SX3 is equipped as standard with a chain counter magnet and a manual chain release system, allowing safe operation even in the event of power failure.
