Lofrans X3 Vertical Windlass is a powerful and reliable vertical anchoring windlass designed for sailing yachts and motor boats from 6 to 27 metres in length. Engineered for demanding marine environments, the X3 series delivers excellent mechanical efficiency, corrosion resistance and long-term durability.

The windlass is available with chromed bronze or aluminium bases and in both Low Profile and drum configurations. A watertight stainless steel ball bearing in the base ensures smooth operation with minimal maintenance requirements. The conical clutch provides correct load distribution, while the special motor-to-gearbox coupling allows easier servicing.

The X3 windlass supports chain or rope/chain combinations and features a manual recovery system, enabling safe anchor retrieval in the event of power failure.
