The Lofrans radio remote control system is designed for wireless operation of a wide range of anchor windlasses and other electrically powered onboard equipment. The system consists of a handheld transmitter and receiver, offering convenient and safe control without physical cabling.
The transmitter is IP67-rated and features zero power consumption in standby mode. Digital signal recognition prevents accidental activation of other onboard systems, enhancing overall safety. Each receiver can manage four channels, while one transmitter can handle up to two receivers, allowing control of up to eight independent channels.
The system is easy to install and set up, making it suitable for demanding marine environments. An operating frequency of 868 MHz is authorized for Europe and Australia, while 915 MHz is used in the USA and Canada.
