The Electric Tunnel Thruster CT 325 is the largest and most powerful model in the MAX POWER 48V tunnel thruster range. Designed for motor yachts and deep-keeled sailing yachts from 51 to 100 feet, it delivers exceptional thrust with significantly reduced current consumption and increased duty cycle compared to 24V systems, resulting in lower installation costs and improved overall efficiency.
The Electric Tunnel Thruster CT 325 is the most powerful unit in the MAX POWER 48V tunnel thruster range. It is designed for large motor boats and deep-keeled sailing yachts between 51 and 100 feet, where maximum thrust and reliability are essential for precise manoeuvring.
This high-performance 48V DC tunnel thruster is available with bronze or aluminium drive legs depending on hull material. It features case-hardened spiro-conical gears, integrated line shields and purpose-built DC motors, ensuring durability, efficiency and smooth operation.
Compared to equivalent 24V systems, the 48V version provides up to 48% lower current consumption and up to 50% increase in duty cycle. This allows for smaller cables, reduced installation costs and improved battery management. The system uses 24V electronic control boxes and high-specification DC contactors for enhanced safety.
