€150.00

The Ocean Signal HR1E Replacement Hydrostatic Release Unit (HRU) is designed to automatically release an EPIRB from a Category 1 float-free bracket if a vessel sinks. Activated by hydrostatic pressure at approximately 1.5 to 4 meters depth, it allows the EPIRB to float free and transmit a distress signal. The HR1E provides reliable and rapid activation in emergency situations and is a critical safety component for vessels using Ocean Signal EPIRB systems.

Ocean Signal HR1E Replacement Hydrostatic Release Unit (HRU) is designed to automatically release an EPIRB from a Category 1 float-free mounting bracket in the event of vessel submersion.

The unit activates through hydrostatic pressure at depths of approximately 1.5 to 4 meters, triggering the release mechanism and allowing the EPIRB to float free. Once released, the EPIRB begins transmitting a distress signal, significantly improving rescue response times.

Manufactured with precision and reliability in mind, the HR1E is a critical component of maritime safety equipment. Replacement of the HRU is required every 2 years for Category 1 float-free brackets in accordance with international safety regulations.
