ALUSHIELD is a two-component epoxy primer designed for marine hull protection and surfaces exposed to harsh marine environments. The formulation contains aluminium flakes that create a strong moisture barrier and provide excellent protection against osmosis on GRP hulls. It is suitable for below-waterline application and can also be used as a tie coat before applying antifouling systems, ensuring strong adhesion and long-term protection.

ALUSHIELD is a two-component epoxy primer designed for marine surfaces exposed to constant water and moisture. Its aluminium-flake reinforced formulation creates an effective protective barrier that helps prevent moisture penetration and osmosis on GRP hulls.
The product is particularly suitable for application below the waterline and can also be used as a tie coat before antifouling application. ALUSHIELD ensures excellent adhesion on properly prepared substrates and provides long-lasting protection in demanding marine environments.
The system consists of Part A (epoxy primer) and Part B (hardener). When mixed together, it forms a durable protective coating that prepares the surface for further protective or finishing coatings.
