The LALIZAS Hydrostatic Release Unit (HRU) for EPIRB is designed to automatically release an EPIRB device in the event of vessel sinking. Activation occurs through hydrostatic pressure at depths between 1.5 and 4 meters, ensuring timely deployment without manual intervention. Manufactured from glass reinforced nylon, the HRU offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability in harsh marine environments. The unit is maintenance-free, easy to install and fully compliant with SOLAS and MSC standards, making it a reliable safety solution for professional and commercial vessels.

LALIZAS Hydrostatic Release Unit (HRU) for EPIRB is designed to ensure the automatic release of an EPIRB device in emergency situations involving vessel sinking. The unit is activated by hydrostatic pressure at depths between 1.5 and 4 meters, allowing the EPIRB to deploy and transmit distress signals without manual assistance.

The HRU housing is made of glass reinforced nylon, offering high resistance to corrosion and long-term durability in marine conditions. The unit requires no maintenance and must be replaced either two years after installation or four years after manufacturing, whichever comes first.

The HRU is compatible with most EPIRB models and should be installed according to the EPIRB manufacturer’s instructions. Replacement of the bolt (rod) is mandatory together with the HRU unit.
