The MAX POWER CT60 12V tunnel thruster installation set is a powerful and reliable solution for precise lateral maneuvering of larger motorboats and deep-keel sailing yachts. The MAX POWER CT60 12V tunnel thruster installation set is designed for motorboats and deep-keel sailing yachts requiring powerful, precise, and long-term reliable maneuvering assistance. It is suitable for vessels approximately 7.3 – 11.8 m in length.

At the heart of the set is the Max Power CT60 Electric Tunnel Thruster featuring a mono propeller and a Ø185 mm tunnel. Compared to smaller models such as CT35 and CT45, the CT60 represents a significant step up in thrust and performance while maintaining a robust and simple design.

The mono propeller combined with a larger tunnel diameter delivers strong lateral thrust, making the CT60 a popular choice for larger motor yachts and sailing boats where confident maneuvering assistance is required. Composite drive legs, hardened spiral bevel gears, and a powerful DC motor ensure durability, corrosion resistance, and minimal maintenance.

In its 12V configuration, the CT60 delivers up to 70 kgf of maximum thrust with a power output of 4.35 kW (5.8 hp). This performance level allows effective sideways movement without relying solely on the main propulsion system.

The set includes a Ø185 mm fiberglass tunnel with a length of 1000 mm, which is the recommended configuration for optimal CT60 performance. The lightweight, corrosion-resistant fiberglass construction ensures easy installation and long service life.

Electrical protection is provided by an ANL fuse holder and a 225A ANL fuse, specifically matched to the 12V CT60 system. A 25 m tinned marine cable is included to guarantee reliable and durable electrical installation in marine environments.

Control is achieved via a Max Power 2-Direction Joystick, offering intuitive left/right operation and precise short thrust pulses (“pulse docking”), even on larger and heavier vessels.
