The MAX POWER CT80 tunnel thruster installation set (12V) is a complete solution for powerful, safe, and precise lateral maneuvering of motorboats and deep-keel sailing yachts. The set includes a DUO CT80 electric tunnel thruster, a Ø185 mm fiberglass tunnel (1500 mm), a 2-direction joystick, electronic control box, ANL fuse, and marine cable. Designed for vessels approximately 28–46 ft in length, it ensures reliable bow maneuvering in marinas and confined spaces.

The MAX POWER CT80 12V tunnel thruster installation set is designed for vessels requiring reliable, precise, and long-lasting maneuvering assistance. It is suitable for motorboats and deep-keel sailing yachts with an overall length of approximately 28–46 ft.

At the core of the set is the Max Power CT80 Electric Tunnel Thruster, featuring a twin (DUO) propeller system. This configuration improves power efficiency, ensures smoother water flow through the tunnel, and delivers more stable operation compared to mono-propeller systems. Composite drive legs are corrosion-resistant and maintenance-free, ensuring long service life in marine environments.

In its 12V configuration, the CT80 delivers a maximum thrust of 80 kgf with a power output of 4.79 kW (6.4 hp). These performance characteristics provide confident and controlled lateral movement, even in challenging wind and current conditions.

The set includes a Ø185 mm fiberglass tunnel with a length of 1500 mm, optimized for achieving rated performance. The lightweight and corrosion-resistant fiberglass construction allows easy installation in most hull types while ensuring long-term durability.

Control is provided via a Max Power 2-Direction Joystick, enabling intuitive left/right control and precise short thrust pulses (“pulse docking”). The electronic control box integrates advanced safety features such as short-circuit protection, automatic shutdown after inactivity, and timed delay between direction changes.
